| FLAG International LLC (FI) is a consulting company based in Annapolis, MD that provides technical and management consulting services for US and international companies seeking to generate an above-average return on the capital of their owners and investors. FI offers its services worldwide to SMEs, multilateral organizations, government authorities, banks and financial institutions, as well as to investment and privatization funds. Since its founding in 2000, FI has engaged in consulting activities in Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Croatia, Georgia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bulgaria and the United States, and has conducted bank training in Vietnam, Afghanistan and China. FI provides these services to numerous private sector organizations as well as agencies such as the US Agency for International Development (USAID), an arm of the US State Department responsible for designing and funding US-funded economic development programs.
FI offers a number of services to entrepreneurs, firms and business associations looking for outside technical, managerial, or financial support. FI also works with investors looking for good investment opportunities in small or emerging markets. Company Ownership FI is a partnership based in Annapolis, MD, a registered veteran-owned U.S. small business. The three principals and dozen associates of FI are well-versed in consulting, contracting, economic development, and international business with more than 100 years of international management experience. Having implemented consulting projects in the US and over a dozen foreign countries, the principals are leveraging their experience into helping SMEs develop new business and profits, combining excellence in fulfilling the promise of completely trustworthy expertise and information with the ability to generate new business for clients. Through this experience we have developed a unique depth and breadth of experience in all facets of management, enterprise development, investment, restructuring, and privatization in economies in transition. Our core team holds an array of advanced academic and professional qualifications in engineering, economics, business, and finance. They have operated businesses, raised capital, taught at universities, consulted with multinational firms and advised government institutions. All of our staff has considerable time living abroad and working with clients in their own environment.
